TUITION & POLICIES
SEMESTER PACK (includes 15 lessons, a workshop and a recital)
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
- 60 MINUTE LESSONS (semester pack) = $1800
- 45 MINUTE LESSONS (semester pack) = $1425
- 30 MINUTE LESSONS (semester pack) = $1100 (8 years & younger)
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
- 60 MINUTE LESSON = $150
- 45 MINUTE LESSON = $120
- AUDITION / COMPETITION WORKSHOP = $150 per hour (minimum 2 hours)
SEMESTER CALENDAR
The Belmont Piano Academy semesters follow the calendar year of the local public school system. All school holidays and vacations are observed. Lessons and classes begin the first Wednesday after Labor Day for Semester I, and the first Monday in February for Semester II.
SCHOOL POLICY
Registration for current and new students begins on June 1st for Semester I. (Fall) and on December 1st for Semester II. (Winter/Spring). Registration is valid only upon payment of either a 30% non-refundable placement deposit (applied to tuition) or FULL TUITION AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. PAYMENT IN FULL is due prior to the start of all lessons and classes.
PAYMENT PLAN OPTION
Students may elect to pay on a monthly basis in four equal installments for an additional $35.00 fee per semester. Payments are due on the 1st of every month. At the time of registration, a 30% deposit (per student), and the payment plan fee ($35) are due. A $25 fee will be assessed for all past due accounts and for bounced checks. REFUND POLICY
In the case of withdrawal prior to the 4th lesson, remainder of tuition minus 40% will be refunded. After the 4th lesson, NO REFUNDS will be issued.
ABSENCES & SNOW DAYS
You are allowed one (1) excused absence per semester. An excused absence requires the notification of your teacher 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. In the case of an absence or emergency, please CONTACT YOUR TEACHER DIRECTLY. In the event that you cannot reach your instructor, call (617) 966-8923 the prior evening or no later than 12 noon on the day of your lesson. All teacher absences will be made up. All snow days will be made up. Our snow cancellation policy will follow that of the local public school system as well as the individual teacher’s discretion. In any event, you should contact your instructor.
